Fun Camp for Boys & Girls | $450 per camper

- Rising K - 2nd Grade • 9am - 3pm

Fun camp for boys & girls will encompass activities that spark creativity and imagination through play and friendship. Examples include indoor arts and crafts, puzzles and games, outdoor play, and fun food activities.

Renaissance & Kayak Camp | $450 per camper

- Rising 3rd - 8th Grade • 9am - 3:00pm

Campers will spend two days kayaking at Algonkian Regional Park and Roosevelt Island. The group will also spend a morning at Gulf Branch Nature Center in Arlington. On campus, campers will learn the skills of archery and compete in a Robin Hood competition, design and create their own flags based on classic heraldry traditions, compete in mini Olympic trials, and develop their culinary skills and crafting abilities with daily creative cooking and art projects. We will finish the week with a classic cookout in which campers help prepare the food and compete in lawn game competitions.

(Students should pack a snack, lunch, and a water bottle. They will have a lunch break at school from 12:00-12:30 pm, before their afternoon session from 12:30-3:30 pm)

Volleyball Camp | $450 per camper

- Rising 5-8 Grade | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm

Beginners and advanced players alike will benefit from five days of fundamentals led by Ms. Nubie Vazquez.  With an emphasis on improving skills, playing as a team, and having fun!  This camp will equip girls with the skills necessary to be a team player on and off the court.

Tennis Camp | $475 per camper

- Rising K-8 Grade | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm

The day will start with tennis in the morning at 9:00 a.m. at Linway Terrace Park (6426 Linway Terrace, McLean, VA 22101).  The morning tennis camp will consist of a warm-up, agility, hand-eye coordination and fitness exercises. Then on to playing the game of tennis, coaching will focus on serving, returning, rallying and all the skills and techniques necessary to do this effectively.

The day will continue with afternoon camp. After tennis, campers will walk from Linway Terrace Park to the school for fun and games.

Ms. Haymans has been playing tennis for over 20 years. She played number one singles and doubles at Gettysburg College. Adventurers’ Camp for Girls & Boys | $450 per camper

- Rising K - 2nd Grade • 9am - 3pm

Adventurers’ camp for boys & girls is a camp where adventurous activities will be planned. Every day will be a new challenge in which boys & girls will have to use their knowledge and understanding of the natural world with strategy to solve the problem at hand. Examples include scavenger hunts, nature walks, and outdoor craft activities, etc.

Dangerous Boys Club & Daring Girls Club Camp | $450 per camper

- Rising 3rd - 8th Grade • 9am - 3pm

This camp is designed to cultivate a love of the outdoors as well as a sense of independence. Campers will stretch their imaginations and hone their wilderness skills during this 5–day adventure. Activities will include nature hikes, scavenger hunts, team-building games, fire starting, shelter building, nerf gun battles, archery, knot tying, and obstacle courses. The camp will also have other elements such as learning about great battles that shaped America and the west, speeches, stories, poetry and much more!

June 24-28, 2024

National Park Junior Rangers Camp | $525 per camper

- Rising 2nd-4th Grade | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm*

This camp is designed to give campers the opportunity to join the National Parks Junior Ranger family. Campers will explore the park, complete a series of activities, speak with Park Rangers, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate at each park they visit. Campers will visit the National Mall, Great Falls Park, Oxon Hill Farm, Fort Washington, and more! On days when the group returns to SJBA before pickup, the campers will have time to play lawn games and sports on the field.

July 8-12, 2024

Day Trips and Explorations Camp | $525 per camper

- Rising 5-8 Grade | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm

Spend a week of adventure in some of the area’s local museums, national parks, and farms! Campers will explore the Spy Museum and the Air and Space Museum, get a hands on tour of Piscataway Farm Park, search for shark teeth and other artifacts at the Calvert Cliffs Park, and go on local hikes surrounded by the natural beauty of the area.

(*There will be some days that students return to SJBA between 3:00 – 5:00pm.)
