June 26-30 The Troubadours | $300 per camper
- Rising 6th - 9th Grade • 9am - 3pm
The one-week Musical Theater Intensive session is for the 6th-9th grader looking for a dance and music-concentrated experience. In numbers chosen and choreographed by Kiley and Elizabeth Hatch, the campers will be exposed to the core theater dance styles of ballet, jazz, and tap. At the end of the week, they will perform a mock “Tonys” musical revue.

July 10-14 The Groundlings | $200 per camper
- Rising 3rd - 6th Grade • 10am - 2pm
In this one-week beginning acting session for 3rd-6th graders, campers will gain hands-on experience in the theatre through writing their own bios for the program, memorizing their lines, and learning to project their voices. In improv games and show rehearsals each day, they will gain a greater appreciation for the role of the ensemble and get comfortable on the stage.
The 2019 production was a historical fiction play by Kiley Hatch about Nellie Bly, the female journalist who traveled around the world.

Fun Camp for Girls | $450 per camper
- Rising 1st - 2nd Grade • 9am - 3pm
Fun camp for girls is a camp where adventurous activities will be planned with an added element of formation. Every day will be a new challenge in which girls will have to use their knowledge and understanding of the natural world with strategy to solve the problem at hand. Examples include nature capture the flag, fort building, how to tie knots, etc.

Adventurers’ Camp for Boys | $450 per camper
- Rising 1st - 2nd Grade • 9am - 3pm
The Adventurers’ Camp for Boys will focus on formation and renaissance through adventure. Boys will be captivated through storytelling as a lead into each activity. Each objective is to help the boys become pioneers through magnanimity in living what is good. Expected activities will range from team competition (infection, football etc.), full scale battles, survival games, scavenger hunts, nature walks, and much more!

Renaissance Camp & Sports Camp | $450 per camper
- Rising 3rd - 4th Grade • 9am - 12pm AND 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Their day will start with renaissance camp, which is designed to develop a multi-faceted skill set, broaden student horizons, and most importantly have fun! Our campus provides a beautiful setting for a wide range of learning, growth, and excitement. The activities in this camp will range from string art to painting, crafting, clay work, cooking, baking, scavenger hunts, strategic games, chess and a chess tournament, and more!
After lunch, campers will have sports camp, which is intended to help them develop skills, strategic thinking and a love of sports through participation in team sports and strategic leisure games. The activities will grow campers’ skills in dribbling, passing, stick handling, and shooting abilities. Additionally, campers will enhance their knowledge of soccer, basketball and street hockey as well as other games to develop a love of the game and to learn strategies to succeed while playing on a team. Competitions will regularly occur during both drills and games and campers will stretch their imaginations to create plays for their teams.

Dangerous Boys Club & Daring Girls Club Camp | $450 per camper

This camp is designed to cultivate a love of the outdoors as well as a sense of independence. Campers will stretch their imaginations and hone their wilderness skills during this 5–day adventure. Activities will include nature hikes, scavenger hunts, team-building games, fire starting, shelter building, nerf gun battles, archery, knot tying, and obstacle courses. The camp will also have other elements such as learning about great battles that shaped America and the west, speeches, stories, poetry and much more!

Splash Camp with Kayaking | $475 per camper
- Rising 5-8 Grade | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm
Splish splash! Join us for a week of fun outdoor water activities. We will venture on day long kayaking trips to Occoquan, Algonkian, and Roosevelt Island. Swimming at Beaver Creek, hiking Great Falls, and a slip n’ slide and water gun battle day on campus await. No kayaking experience is required! Be sure to wear water shoes or Crocs.

SEC Football Academy | $450
- Rising 3-8 Grade | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 3:00pm
Introducing this football skills camp for rising 3rd-8th graders. Your child will enjoy this pre-season football camp and be saved from the dog days of August. With an SEC theme, students will be coached in techniques relative to position and play structure. In addition, there will be heavy competition from position to position. There will be an aspect of character development through each activity, with loads of fun. On our final two days, a water gun / balloon battle and slip n’ slide is planned near the close of academy activities. Recommended but not required are a helmet and one leather football relative to age. This is a specialized camp for quarterbacks, receivers, running backs and defensive secondary players. Finally, there is a potential for a special guest coach!

Rising Grades 1-8 | $475 per camper / per week

A combination of Tennis and Day Camp will be offered for students in rising 1-8 grade this summer. The day will start with tennis in the morning at 9:00 am at Linway Terrace Park (6426 Linway Terrace, McLean, VA 22101). Directed by Ms. Caroline Haymans, an instructional assistant at St. John’s, the morning tennis camp will consist of a warm-up, agility, hand-eye co-ordination and fitness exercises. Then on to playing the game of tennis, coaching will focus on serving, returning, rallying and all the skills and techniques necessary to do this effectively.
The day will continue with afternoon camp. After tennis, campers will walk from Linway Terrace Park to the school. Each week will have a corresponding theme for campers to enjoy, learn and play.

Ms. Haymans has been playing tennis for over 20 years. She played number one singles and doubles at Gettysburg College. She was also previously ranked number 8 in Virginia and number 20 in the Mid-Atlantic region. She loves working with children, and currently works as an instructional assistant at Saint John the Beloved Academy while finishing her teaching degree at Marymount!
