Community Outreach

Our St. John the Beloved Academy school community participates in several service projects and fundraising activities throughout the school year. Some of our past activities have included:

Thanksgiving food drive for SOME (So Others May Eat)
We Care about Catholic Charities Week and “Dress out Day” in support for the Diocese of Arlington Catholic Charities
Holding “Diaper Drives” for crisis pregnancy centers
Donations from our annual Mardi Gras pancake breakfast to support the Diocese of Arlington Gabriel Project

The Office of Child Protection and Victim Assistance in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington provides opportunities to report abuse, heal from abuse, and find support. Additionally, this office works to ensure that all children and youth in programs throughout the diocese have a safe environment full of caring and responsible adults to watch over them.
