Basketball Clinic

Guided by SJBA faculty and coaches–Brian O’Neill and Ben Thrasher–the camp will be led by an elite basketball coach and trainer: Lucious “Lucky” Jones.

Coach Lucky Jones currently trains sons of SJBA dads as well as elite high school athletes in the area–including players at Bishop O’Connell. Lucky was trained by Coach Bobby Hurley Sr–father of the current coach of UConn (Danny) and the former great Duke guard (Bobby). Lucky helped lead his Robert Morris team to a NCAA tourney bid and a victory in the tournament, and multiple NIT Tournaments, in addition to playing professionally overseas. He is an experienced coach and trainer.

The Camp will include great skill training, as well as fun games and competitions. It will feature a 3-day session, Monday – Wednesday, December 29 – 31. Friday, January 2 will feature an open gym and training and is an optional day.

The morning session ($150 for the three days), running from 9:00 – 11:45 a.m., will be for boys and girls from grades 3 – 8.

The afternoon session ($150 for the three days), running from 12:15 – 3:00 p.m., will be for boys and girls from grades 7 – 12, and will highlight 3-on-3 games.

Fridays open gym will have the same times and ages as above and is $50 per session.

Since 7th and 8th Graders can sign up for either session, there is also an option for them to sign up for full days for a reduced price of $250.

An automatic discount of 50% will be applied for the third and each additional kid that you register.
